My favourite cafes

Flickorna Lundgren, Skäret, Sweden
In my view the best cafe in Sweden. This classic cafe has been around since 1938, when the sisters Greta, Ebba, Marta, and Rut opened "The Lundgren Girls". King Gustav Adolf VI was a loyal guest and used to make the trip to the cafe from his summer home, Sofiero Castle, to get his favourite cookies, vanilla hearts.

Konditori Öresund, Viken, Sweden
Another cafe in Skåne, my hometown cafe and the place that makes my favourite version of Princess Cake. A traditional cafe that looks like it hasn't changed since the 1950s. Great location right on the high street in the cute seaside village of Viken, Sweden.

Laduree - Paris, Dubai and London among other places
I love macaroons so I must list Laduree here. Best macaroon place in the world with the best company website! What is there not to love with the mint green and pink branding, the perfectly formed macaroons and the most delicious flavours of tea, even though I am most definitely a coffee drinker. Apparently it all began in 1862, when Louis Ernest Ladurée, a miller from France’s southwest, created a bakery at 16 rue Royale in Paris.
